Kraak! Procida marks the year with rituals that go back centuries. The most moving is the Procession of the Mysteries on Good Friday: at dawn, allegorical floats — handcrafted for months — descend from Terra Murata down to the harbour, accompanied by drums and funeral marches. A tradition over three hundred years old that involves the whole island. Then there's the feast of patron saint San Michele and a full summer of events. Criii! Mark the dates on your calendar.
