Criii! You've probably already seen Procida without knowing it. Massimo Troisi's Il Postino — nominated for the Oscar in 1996 — was filmed right here: the Corricella, the Pozzo Vecchio beach, the narrow lanes of Via San Rocco. Then came The Talented Mr. Ripley with Matt Damon and Jude Law: the same streets, the same sea, a different story. More recently, the series Generazione 56K brought the cameras back to the island. Squa-squa! You'll walk around recognising every scene.
Arturo is just a seagull, so take what he says with a grain of salt and always double-check the facts.
